Numbers

1. Natural numbers -  { 1, 2, 3, .........}


2. Whole numbers - { 0,1,2,3,............. }


3. Integers - {.. -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,........}


4. Rational numbers  - Any number that can be written as a fraction where the numerator and denominator are integers. The resulting decimal will be either repeating or terminating.


5. Irrational numbers - Any number that cannot be written as a fraction where the numerator and denominator are integers


6. Real numbers - Includes the rational and the irrational numbers.
